The Dropped Stitch is located at the northeast corner of Clark and Bryn Mawr at
1524 W Bryn Mawr Ave, Chicago IL 60660
CTA: We are a ten minute walk west of the Red Line and #36 Broadway bus, and steps from the #22 Clark and #50 Damen bus.
Parking: Parking on Bryn Mawr Ave is free. However, be advised that the area directly in front of the shop is a no-parking zone, and most parking on the south (eastbound) side of the street is not allowed during school hours (9 to 4 during the school year). However, there are usually some spots on the north side of Bryn Mawr east of the alley entrance, and paid street parking is available up and down Clark Street. There's also a place to lock your bike right out front.

Yarn: We stock fine natural yarns from Malabrigo, Amano, Manos del Uruguay, Noro, Juniper Moon, Lopi, West Yorkshire Spinners, Schoppel, Blue Sky Fibers, and Gnome Depot Fiber. We also carry embroidery and cross stitch supplies from DMC, including thread, hoops, needles, and fabric!
Notions: We carry ChiaoGoo interchangeable and fixed circular knitting needles, sets, and crochet hooks, Clover crochet hooks and bamboo needles, Tulip hand sewing and sashiko supplies, and beautiful accessories from Cocoknits.
Gifts: We also have an ever-expanding assortment of books, embroidery and felting kits, hand-crafted goods, and unclassifiable little goodies.
